Currently, Seddon owns Sanus, LLC, a business development and strategic marketing company that provides or has provided marketing and consultation services for a wide range of clients including print and digital publishing companies, the USDOD, USDA, leading life settlement (insurance) providers and brokers, major manufacturers and importers in the U.S. furniture industry, the National Center for Physical Acoustics, trade event producers, Linux software training and development companies, and non-profit foundations. Seddon sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Mississippi’s School of Journalism and New Media and is also an adjunct professor at the school.
Current Business Operations:
Seddon founded Sanus Medical Acoustics (now Sanus, LLC), which developed acoustic hemostasis medical devices for the United States Department of Defense. Seddon, through his company, was majority shareholder of HomeSafe Inspection, Inc, a home, energy, air quality and termite inspection infrared and acoustic technology company. Through his company, Sanus, Seddon also launched the Life Settlement Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization and Neckglasses, LLC, an eyewear company launched in 2016. Seddon recently provided consulting services for the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation, focusing on fundraising. Seddon and/or Sanus own six U.S. patents focused on infrared and acoustic technology and are currently developing a Home Tornado Warning System. Seddon, via his company Neckglasses, also owns multiple patents in the eyewear and jewelry sector.
Past Business Operations
Until 2017, Seddon was president of the Tupelo Furniture Market, one of the three largest B2B furniture trade events in the United States. Seddon was CEO of Oxford Publishing, Inc., which published three of the hospitality industry’s leading trade magazines and produced one of the largest food & beverage trade events in the United States. Seddon also was CEO of HottyToddy.com, now a University of Mississippi digital publication targeting Ole Miss Alumni and fans, students and the Oxford community. Seddon co-founded the New York Pizza Show held annually at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. He also was co-founder and Vice President of Operations for Sair Linux & GNU, a leading developer of training materials and certification examinations for the Linux computer operating system.
